SmashDown is based in Woodstock, Cape Town and serves individuals and groups from across the city and surrounding areas. Safety briefing and minimum ages
Every booking starts with a safety briefing before anyone enters the smash room. Participants are issued the required safety gear, which typically includes a helmet, face shield, gloves, overalls and closed shoes. For younger guests, minimum age rules apply and these are confirmed during the booking process, depending on the type of event and supervision available.
Our team keeps the process straightforward and practical. Sibusiso Dlamini leads safety and briefing, while Anika van Wyk handles venue operations on the day, so the session runs in a controlled way from start to finish.
Group bookings, private events and mobile setups
We handle a wide mix of events from private sessions for two or three people to larger team bookings. Megan Pillay manages group events and can help with staff socials, sports clubs, student groups, launch events and content shoots. If you are planning for a venue in Cape Town or nearby towns, mention the setup you need and whether you want a fixed venue or a mobile event.

Response times can vary during busy periods and event days, but we aim to come back with clear information rather than make you wait and wonder. If your booking is time-sensitive, say so in the form so Bradley Jacobs and Zanele Khumalo can prioritise the request.
For larger events or venue questions, Luvuyo Mthembu and the team may ask for a bit more detail before confirming availability. That keeps everything clear for both sides and avoids last-minute changes.
